Everyone Online Is Raving About Cyklar, But Is It Worth the Hype? I Tried It Out
If there’s one trend I’ve completely fallen for in 2025, it’s everyday luxuries. I’ve been fully influenced to slowly upgrade the essentials I use daily to romanticize my life. Small things like a nightly hand cream before bed, laundry detergent with a scent I love, and candles that make my room feel like a luxe hotel lobby have become non-negotiables. Since I began this journey of upgrading my routine to be something I truly look forward to, one brand has popped up over and over again. From influencers raving about the body wash in empties videos to people calling the body lotion the best thing they’ve ever smelled, the name on everyone’s lips in the body care world is Cyklar.
After months of adding and removing products from my cart, I finally got my hands on Cyklar’s bestsellers and put them to the test to see if they’re really worth upping your beauty budget for. So if you’re debating whether their products deserve a spot on your holiday wishlist, this is for you. Here is my honest Cyklar review, after testing the products for myself.

What is Cyklar?
Founded by influencer Claudia Sulewski, Cyklar describes itself as “multi-sensory skincare from head to toe.” Their products—ranging from body oils and lotions to deodorants and fragrance oils—are known for their luxurious feel, intense hydration, and completely addictive scents. At $35, Cyklar body wash definitely isn’t as affordable as my old $10 Method option. But compared to internet favorites like the L’Occitane shower oil ($48) or the Nécessaire body wash ($42), it sits at the lower end of the bougie body care price range.
Cyklar Key Ingredients
It’s not just the scents that have earned Cyklar a cult following. With key ingredients like fatty acid water to enhance the skin barrier, multi-complex oil to nourish, glycerin to lock in moisture, banana flower extract to hydrate and smooth, and niacinamide to soften texture and restore moisture, the products are packed with ingredients that actually make a real difference. As someone who has historically chosen my body care routine based solely on scent—not on a science-backed ingredients list—finding a brand where you don’t have to compromise on either is a game-changer.
Cyklar Review: My Experience
I have to admit, I went into this experiment expecting to be slightly underwhelmed by Cyklar. Not because I thought the products would be bad, but because after testing countless TikTok-viral items, only a small percentage have actually lived up to the hype. Plus, how much better can one body wash, lotion, or oil really be than a drugstore one? Aren’t they all doing the same thing? WRONG. Despite my initial skepticism, I can confidently say I am now a full Cyklar convert. I truly want every product in every scent. And yes, I’m annoyed about it, because there’s no going back to grabbing the cheapest body products at Target after seeing the other side. Here are my thoughts on every product I tried:
Sensorial Body Wash

If there was one product I was both most excited and most skeptical to try, it was the body wash. I genuinely couldn’t imagine how life-changing something could be when you wash it down the drain less than a minute after using it. But sure enough, here I am, singing its praises from the rooftop.
This body wash has such a unique, hydrating texture. It applies almost like a silky gel, and while you can work up a small lather. It’s not very foamy, and leaves the skin without feeling dry and stripped, like so many body cleansers do. What impressed me most about this product was how long the scent lingered after using it. It filled my entire bathroom and lasted on my skin so much longer than I expected. Bergamot Bond is a bright, woody citrus that feels perfect for that fresh, clean shower scent.

Nutrient-Rich Body Cream

One of the biggest turnoffs of using a daily body cream is the sticky feeling that leaves you feeling like you can’t touch anything for hours. But this one melted into my skin immediately. It was rich, luxurious, and the perfect level of moisture for dry winter months. Sacred Santal was also my favorite scent of the bunch. It’s a warm, ambery woody fragrance without that sharp, almost vinegary note some santal scents have. This is one of those products I loved so much that I found myself trying to use the tiniest amount so I could savor the bottle for as long as possible.

Vitamin C Body Oil

In the winter, body oil is an absolute staple for me, and I couldn’t be more obsessed with this one. Vanilla Verve is a delicious spicy vanilla fragrance that doesn’t lean too sweet, which I really appreciate. I loved mixing a few pumps with the body cream for hydration that lasted all day. I could even still smell it on myself after a 12-hour travel day. And if that isn’t a true test, I don’t know what is.

Perfume Oil

I am absolutely perfume-obsessed, but my perfume oil experience is surprisingly limited. I usually prefer something I can spritz on my clothes and in my hair. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how strong this oil’s projection was for something that sits so close to the skin.
If you’re not familiar with perfume notes, don’t be intimidated by “musk” in the name—it’s not musty at all. It’s an ambery, alluring note with a your-skin-but-better vibe. Combined with rose, jasmine, tonka bean, and orris, it creates a sexy scent I love wearing alone or layering to add depth to my other fragrances. I also love how tiny the chic glass bottle is. It’s perfect for tossing in your purse for touch-ups throughout the day.
